with every icewm release i've posted the correct xdg template for icewm, just somehow it gets over written.

No, no. I HAVE the icewm template and it works fine. Beta2 gets your shutdown dialog no problem.

The one I'm looking for is the JWM equivalent template - so your shutdown dialog gets called whether activated from JWM or Icewm.

Hey WhoDo I've been cleaning up the taskbar, now it just has the volume control, a quick launch menu with 9 items in it, anything else you would like to see in it?
ttuuxxx

Only the Show Desktop icon on the taskbar for refugees. Calculator can go in the quick launch menu if you like.

Hey WhoDO whats up with 4.2 and sounblaster-32 pci soundcard it doesn't work, Just tried it, then I put in a puppy 3.0.2 cd and it works out of the box, you hear the woof woof at the start, but not on 4.2, I ran the alsa wizard and tried all the settings and nothing in 4.2?

What happens if you boot into 4.1.2? I can't test here because my development machine has no sound drivers either. Even tempestuous suggested there was not much that can be done ... something to do with sound chips ("I know nothing ... I see nothing" - John Banner aka Sgt. Shultz from Hogan's Heroes - and now I hear nothing!) Confused

... taskbar ... show desktop, quick launch, volume control on left. blinky, freememapplet and clock on right. I wonder how many of our users actually have more than 1 desktop running? Confused

You want me to remove the [1][2] desktops? OMG Last time I did that in one of my icewm package release talking about a public outrage, almost like the LA or Redfern riots lol well maybe not that extreme, ok maybe only 5 people complained, actually I think it was 2, LOL Maybe I dreamed the whole thing up, LOL LOL
