The puppy version i did this on is defualt 1.0.6 So make sure its what your using. Make sure Hidden folders are showing by clicking the Show/hide hidden folders icon in the Rox toolbar.
The Best Window manager To resemble XP So far is Icewm to my knowledge. Install icewm 1.2.23 with the menu for 1.0.6 and the Elberg/silverxp theme.
Download the XPM Zip File Unzip the contents to /root/.icewm/icons. Move the Menu File from the Icons folder to /root/.icewm and when asked if you wanna overwrite click yes. After So Move The two Recycle Icons to my documents these will be needed later to edit the trashcan.
Restart icewm And There you go XP menus.
Now to make the trashcan resemble Recycle bin.
Right Click the trashcan and Select Look inside from the Apps Dir Submenu. Replace the two Trashcan Icons with the two Included in The XPM Zip. Send a uneeded file to the trash can and walla! To go Further Right click the trash can once more and select edit item, rename it to Recycle Bin And there ya go.
Next we Edit the Rox Toolbar to Look XP.
Download piximaps.zip and Extract them to /usr/local/apps/ Within this folder should be The Rox Filer File, Right Click it and select Look inside. Open the Piximap Folder and move the Extracted Icons to it, When asked overwrite select yes. Reboot and your Rox is XPed.
More on XPing Your Rox Icons to Come. I must finnish doing them on my computer myself befor.
