Soul Ride- Jay Peak (Version 1.1, released Mar 07, 2009) - virtual_jay_peak_linux_1_1a.tar.gz 7M
http://soulride.com/products/soulride.html
This is a Virtual Resort which demonstrates the Soul Ride engine using the groomed resort terrain of Jay Peak. There is no AI and seemingly no multiplayer support that I know of, but I thought someone might want to have a shot at it. It's only 7 mb anyway.
Virtual Jay Peak is a simulation of snowboarding at the Jay Peak resort in Vermont. The terrain is based on geological survey data of the mountain and surrounding area, with the addition of signature trails and buildings. The software is based on the extreme backcountry snowboarding game Soul Ride.
The simulation is based on a detailed physics model, so the limits of what you can do are up to the terrain, your skill, and the laws of physics.
The basic controls are: left and right to steer the rider, button 1 or <Ctrl> to crouch (release to jump), up and down to attempt a flip while jumping, and button 2 or <Shift> in combination with left or right to do a grab while in the air.
To play, extract the download where ever you wish and click "soulride".
