Official Opera Theme for Puppy

#1 Post by puppyluvr »

:D Hello,
Well, I`m putting together a Puppy Linux Theme for Opera...
Its in the the "new skins" section of Opera Skins :D
Stuff like this helps expose people to Puppy..Imaging someone using it on Windows..LOL
So far have a speed-dial background and some button changes...

Puppy "Home" and "Back / Forward" "FF / RW" buttons...Change color when hovered / clicked.. :D (Check out the "tandem" Color change when hovered :))
Image

More to come....
Anyone have some Puppy related .pngs I can use??
If I can gather enough of them up I`ll make more colors available....

:D Hello,
@DaveS,
Which font are you having trouble with???
Although fonts are not part if the theme....
(They are set in "preferences")
I set mine as dingbats, and it, as well as the default, display fine...

leopard ate the dog?
when i was relocating a shopping trolley in Africa.....
was taking a stroll in a less built up area near a small national park and came across some large foot prints chasing what looked like cat footprints. the hair stood up on the back of my neck and i looked cautiously around because these were very recent prints and i had been reading the previous night that there were large cats in the national park. passed it off as a large dog and returned gingerly to my guest house nearby. at the guest house there was a small stream and i wandered down there for more strolling and to my alarm, more of these same large unusual very fresh footprints that i had never before seen. OK there must be more dogs around.
later that evening was conversing with one of the other guest who was a local and knowledgeable in things African. mentioned the prints and he says, "did they have four or five pads? 4 is cat, 5 is dog" i wasn't sure as i didn't count them so we got a torch and went down to the stream to have a look see and count. me holding the torch and we couldn't see/find the prints. he says hold the torch down low and shine horizontally and sure enough the prints suddenly became apparent. count 1,2,3,4, pads all of a sudden the local guys attitude changes and he looks around very warily, he was previously saying it was probably a dog being this close to the houses. he says the big cats wont come near because we have the bright torch but he didn't convince even himself. and it was a very big cat as the stride between prints was a considerable distance. go back to the guest house (at a exaggeratedly nonchalant pace however quite briskly and a step faster than a normal stroll).

. next morning early i go down to the stream and look again . more prints there now heading in the reverse direction. the local guy had vacated the premises even earlier. however i stayed around for a few more days because i wasn't scared. didn't see any more of those prints for the remainder of my time in the dark continent.

Opera theme on Mac :-)

#16 Post by russoodle »

Well puppyluvr, can't comment on how it looks in my Puppies yet but downloaded and installed to the mac just for the hell of it, so thought you might be interested in a screenshot of it...the available colour schemes were way too bright and full-on to choose any particular one, so i went with the system one, which toned it down enough without taking away from your icons :D It's working fine, so i guess it isn't just for Puppy....thank you.
