pupeee wireless problems

I downloaded PupEEE for my eee701, and am very happy with it, but I would like to have the internet. So I go Setup > Wizard Wizard, then choose "connect to internet by network interface," choosng the ath0 option, then Wireless. My problem is, I enter my network specs, but it doesn't accept my WPA key, saying

"Shared key must be either
- Alphanumeric between 8 and 63 characters or
- 64 characters hexadecimal"

And it IS 8 alphanumeric characters ;_;

It's really confusing. Can anyone help? It's my only problem with pupeee so far
