Initialisation looks for Kernel 2.6.12.2 instead of 2.4.29

Hi there. I am tring Puppy in an old PC (Pentium 133MHz - RAM 64MB) and when I run it from the live CD everything works fne. When I install it to the HD it looks for the modules as if the Kernel was 2.6.12.2 instead of 2.4.29 as in the Live CD.
Do you know what's happening?

By the way, Puppy is the best distro for old machines, and I've tried lots od them!
