1.0.7 Real Player & gxine problems

When we try to watch something like http://www.c-span.org on Real Player, we get "Error loading library: drv4.so.6.0"
On HP ZE2113US laptop we get no sound when trying to play DVD.

I can watch the videos.
Try this codec-pack:

It needs 39 MB of your pup001.

It includes the same codecs and other things.
It needs 215 MB on your harddrive, but not in pup001, so it can help saving space.

Thanks, the codecs worked. Too bad they aren't there in the first place. We still need to solve the no sound on laptop problem.

You can save space by deleting codecs in /usr/lib/win32

trial and error if you are bored

For the soundcard:
Please change the title of this thread, so people can see your problem immedeatly.
Post results from start - control panel - hardwareprobe.

That will increase the chance of a reply.
