I can't acces my memorex mmp8590 mp3 music player from puppy linux. I have tried all the usb ports. My other usb stuff works as expected. 'HardInfo' does see it, when it is plugged in, but 'event manager' and 'pmount' don't. Any ideas?

Apparently the MMP8590's default mode is MTP, so in this mode you can use Gnomad2 -

Alternatively if you change the device's mode to MSC, Puppy should then see it as a standard USB storage device.
