Is it possible to Hibernate Puppy?

#1 Post by kelewax »

Hi all,
I would please like to know if its possible to do Hibernation in puppy. I am migrating from WindowsXP where aside from shutting down and restarting you can log off a user and Hibernate. This saves all you are doing as it is so that next time you start your computer it takes you directly to where you where before.

If its possible how can I implement it on my system?
Thanks

This is not exactly hibernation, but If you want to start with all the programs you were using before reboot do this
You can use xfce session manager + xfce window manager. It has the option of saving the session.
