ROX-Filer beautification Subject description: MIME Types icons and toolbar themes for ROX |
|
OK, ppl now here's a nice task for you, take a look at this thread what we were discussing for hints and clues:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=45059
Now you can make and package some themes for rox toolbar:
Quote: |
What you need to do is make an iconset folder placed in /root/.icons/rox-toolbar/ with 12 icons and a preview file for some possible changer script
close.png
up.png
home.png
bookmarks.png
refresh.png
zoomin.png
zoomout.png
details.png
sort.png
hidden.png
select.png
help.png
preview.png
This is in order how they apear in rox toolbar and yes i know there isn't any "close" button but that's because it's not there by default, see rox options to enable or disable buttons

You can install my pet posted in that thread as starting point, which supplies .gtkrc.mine and creates necessary folder structure

Well it doesn't work and I don't know why. I've done it before and used the dir2pet script. Here it is anyway, can one of you look at this and see what's wrong?

Did you symlink it to default folder? If you have
/root/.icons/rox-toolbar/roxtool1
make symlink to /root/.icons/rox-toolbar/default
I'll take a look at pet when I get home, dunno how you packaged it atm.

Here, I corrected package, very nice theme, also scaled icons to smaller size to reduce package, they are scaled in rox anyway, yours were 128x128 px, 24x24 or 32x32 would be enough!

You had one folder more then needed, if you look in /root/.packages you'll see it hasn't expanded into folder "roxtool1" (it must expand to same name pet package has), instead it was folder root which contained roxtool1, so you maybe did:
Code: | dir2pet /root/roxtool1 |
instead changing to root and then do only
Also you copied my default symlink instead making link to your folder:
Code: | ln -s roxtool1 default |
