 No Audio on Boot After Boot, After ALSA Setup |

I have tried all of the cards and options listed below and get no sound on all. Gxine will play videos, but with no sound. Gxine will not load or play mp3s, other media players with this version do not play mp3s or any other audio as well.
Is there a location for drivers that I can download?
I do not have Net access with this laptop, and must go to a cafe each time to download anything, post anything, etc. Please keep that in mind.

Based on the above, your Toshiba Satellite should be an AC97 audio codec. In Alsa sound wizard, select intel80x0 8086:2445 to configure your audio card. Once alsa wizard finishes, right click on the sound volume in the systray to start sGmixer or open a terminal and run alsamixer to set your volume levels.

I have done this. Nothing happens. This laptop has a NON LEGACY Bios.

I select as you suggest, no sound volume icon in puppy systray, no test sound, nothing runs beyond ALSA, I get an error in ALSA that there is no such device, and the app closes.
