LOGUSRREMOVED.txt
When Puppy upgraded from 1.0.2 it went through a "purging" routine" on the 1.0.3 upgrade.
Part of this is to structure the data better?
It has I hope (touch head, touch wood - must be a pagan thing).
I came across my purged log file (I think it is - in /root/tmp LOGUSRREMOVED.txt) two of my beginner type programs (very simple - easily rewritten) license.sh and welcome.sh were deleted - luckily my other files were in /root/my-documents which I tend to use mostly . . .
This is the first time I did an upgrade as opposed to a new install
- though I did an HD install
I still prefer to work from CD as it is silent (the HD is old and noisy and Puppy seems to be accessing it once in a while)
