What is your day job? |
|
Since this section of the forum is to be for off-topic discussions (among other things) and it's been a while since I've posted a ridiculous topic that just wastes everybody's time...
I thought it would be interesting to know what everybody does for their day job. You know, that thing you do all day that keeps you from playing with puppy all the time? Who would like to start?

Will be interesting to see what Puppy fanatics get up to...
Me, I'm a public servant, and am studying my Masters. Don't have as much time for Puppy as I would like.
And, before you ask, I am not procrastinating at work as I write

Puppy Linux development has become my main job!
I do teach part-time, but that has kind of died because I'm not interested in doing it anymore (electronic and computer engineering) ...unless they want me to teach about Linux!

I have a one man medical equipment sales and service business. Mostly small hospital and doctor's office equipment. Retired 4 years ago as CBMET.
Started business when several doctor friends got tired of paying the GEs, Phillips, and Semiens of the world more than $150 /hr. for service.

I'm a High School science teacher and a part-time bat catcher (seriously). I certainly enjoy playing with Puppy and hanging out with computer-minded folks so i can learn new stuff.

Embedded Software engineer (telecom area).
Unfortunately I have so many hobbies that I really shouldn't take this puppy on, except that since it doesn't exist yet, someone has to invent it right?
Other interests include outdoors, video games (PC only, but many hours a week!), karate, and last but not least, a wife and 2 kids.
