Epson Stylus C65 colour inkjet problem with Puppy 1.0.7
Printer connected to PC via USB. Puppy Linux 1.0.7 sensed the printer OK, but attempting to print a line of text from AbiWord results in a constant stream of page feeds and nothing printed.
The "Gimp-print IJS compatible printer" window shows "Epson Stylus C64" with driver escp2-c64 although the Puppy Printer Wizard only lists escp2-c62. I tried several alternatives but they either did nothing or fed continuous blank pages.
Red Hat Fedora Core 2 works with this printer (as a C64, from memory).
I can get a LaserJet working fine with Puppy but would like to migrate from Windows 98 on my 500MHz PC and Puppy has nearly got me there...
Any useful advice?
