Scrambled screen when shutting down UPUP 476

Hi guys,
this is only a minor bug, but would like to know why it happens.
UPUP 476. When shutting down, my screen is scrambled. Partially faded and the typing is spread. I can make out it is saving what I have done. This only happens when shutting down.
I am using it very successfully on a Toshiba L300. It works very well and seems to be the only bug I have found so far. I am busy promoting Puppy to everyone, but this doesn't look so good.
