Puppy ranks 15 out of the top 100 distros on Distrowatch
During the last 30 days, Puppy ranks 15th out of the top 100 downloads of Linux and BSD distros as rated by DISTROWATCH http://distrowatch.com/ for the last 30 days.
Please note the excellent distributions that Puppy dished during the last 30 days. For example, the latest release of KANOTIX is of course excellent; the latest variants of SLAX are all excellent; the latest release of FreeBSD seems to be a flat-out winner.
Permit me to observe the obvious: Puppy has come from nowhere to suddenly achieve a place of prominence because Puppy works, Puppy efficiently meets peoples' needs, Puppy is very tiny for a full-service distro, and tiny little Puppy is so darn cute.
