I have wireless working with 1.0.4, don't know if there is anything to prevent it working under 1.0.3

If I were you I'd start by upgrading to 1.0.7

Also, if you use Search and enter "wireless" I think you will find many discussions.

There are lots of variables that impact a working wireless setup, mostly related to the hardware you choose. Some manufacturers are very uncooperative with Linux, others are a little friendlier.
