network printer not found
cups doesn't seem to detect a network printer that we have. i noticed that it is a web based print server, so i suppose it could be a firewall issue somewhere throughout our network. is there a cups to install on puppy that works from the local computer so i can configure printers on a subnet level? i used linux mint 7 for a short while, and it's printer configuration tool saw the printer just fine. i know puppy prides itself on being a compact yet functional system, and indeed it is. however, i am willing to install a complete print utility that is not web based to set up our network printers. I am open for suggestions.
