Intel GMA500 chipset & Poulsbo drivers. These work on Puppy?

#1 Post by Jon_J »

Is it possible to "convert" the below:
"Guide to Get Ubuntu Display to work on Dell Mini 10"
and make this work in Puppy?
I'm currently using puppy 4.3 beta 3, but I'm asking if this can be done on any '4.xx' version of puppy.
These guides are for enabeling the HD screen on the Mini-10 to display at 1366x768
The graphics chipset is the Intel GMA500 Video chipset.

Hmmm .....

I've grabbed a copy of the sources ... but I'm not sure if its complete since I have no gma500 to play with ... (Since it involves some kernel reworking stuffs, actual hardware for the compile will be needed to get it to work right ...)

Probably will work with p4.3b3 k2.6.30.5 ... but will likely need some modifications for earlier kernels ...

Rgds
