No Sound from Gateway Tower

#1 Post by mbridges1 »

I have tried everything in the thread about the Gateway Solo and sound. No luck. I have tried everything in the Dell threads about sound (changing as needed for my sound card). No luck.

System: Gateway 400 Pentium 2, 128Mb ram, 40Gb hard drive. Ensonic 1371 on-board sound.

Puppy 430 - frugal install
wine-1.1.28-i486

Multiple Sound Wizard run selecting ENS1371
Alsa Sound Wizard run selecting ENS1371
All audio mixers volume up and un-muted
I have run Wine Config to select Alsa for sound
No sound from anything.
