Sound thru the internal speaker does not function

#1 Post by kah-shoo-him »

I have one notebook with Realtek ALC260 board that, after follow some tutorials, I got the sound to work with an external loudspeaker, although low.

However, for being using a notebook, what I would desire to really use would be the internal speaker, what I did not obtain.

Contents of /proc/asound/card0/codec:

Code: Select all

Codec: Realtek ALC260
Codec: Generic 163C Si3054
Contents of /etc/modprobe.conf :

Code: Select all

Codec: snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
Codec: snd-slot-0 snd-hda-intel
options snd-hda-intel model=acer
The module pcspkr is already loaded, and I have set all the alsa-mixer controls to maximum.
