I did get WinFF to work at one point more recently, but I forget how! It's been awhile since I worked with it. As I remember it, was something simple like the exact procedure to follow in using it. vtpup... I got MediaPup to boot with my hack, Patriot gave me the command to cpio it.
Q; WinFF doesn`t remember settings, and to click: "Convert To ..." crashes it.
Perhaps it`s caused by the suggested problem above...
I like the simplicity of WinFF as opposed to the complexity of Kino.
It`s a frugal install to HD, 2400+ Semperon, 256 MB ram, ATI 7500 Radion.
I've been using avidemux for most of my file manipulations lately.
