ttuuxxx:

1. I tried your gtklp-1.2.7-i386.pet and it prints nicely from FF and also still have abiword printing. Very quick test but just to confirm

2. As clarf says Partview works fine iff (not a mis-spelling but the mathematical if) you add his ppmtogif file in place of the existing one. Without it I get exactly the same screen as you are getting.

I had rxvt system linked to Mrxvt but then noticed ttuuxxxView was no longer working, I deleted some of the scrip and ttuuxxxView worked again, Then I remembered that rxvt has some unique commands to it. So I dropped the system link and added rxvt with a menu. I think it was one of these commands that doesn't work with mrxvt -fg 0 -bg 7 "title"just a name"

Partview,
Weird,
Here's mine. Note that mine are all hdX's and yours sdX's
Perhaps you are using SATA drives.
Also it isn't anything to do that your shell says sh but mine is bash??

Don't know what to suggest.

The gtklp-1.2.7-i386.pet works perfectly for me too. Canon pixma ip2600 using driver package that Patriot put together. This solves every problem I have had so far. :D

I know this is not 214 but I also got odd things on my EeePC901 with Partview in 430:

The numbers do not completely agree with those in Gparted.

If I leave the focus on the first box it goes blank and only kill will get rid if it: (see SS)

Hi ttuuxxx, with partview maybe you had rogue .gif files in /tmp. Running partview first before Installing clarf's new ppmtogif creates .gif files in /tmp which have to be deleted first before it will work.

Something for Dave, to remove the double entries in gxine go to /usr/lib/xine/plugins/ & delete the symlink 1.1, it seems o.k. so far.

Haaaaaaaa both fixes worked, lol stupid tmp folder. Man what a waste of time, lol
and your system link removal was so easy, lol 2 very obvious but overlooked great catches :)
thanks

I found your mupdf-2009-07-07.pet and as I have a load of pdf files I tried it on 214X15.

Running it from the CLI I get
mupdf [-d password] [-z zoom] [-p pagenumber] file.pdf
but making a desktop file I get nada.

I though this was a gui based super fast opener of pdf files.
Am I mistaken?

Help!

Cheers
Dave
Hi Dave, There's no gui so just create a symlink in the rox 'send to' folder. I like it, it's very fast but once again has the 'confirm' kill window so best to use the Q key to close.

mupdf is a great program, because it doesn't use the very large libpoppler 1834kb lib. actually if someone would make a gui for it, it could save a lot of space in future puppies. It uses ghostscript and renders very fast and clean.

Hi ttuuxxx, a quick test of your latest streamtuner-ripper worked a treat, with recordings (if allowed) straight into the music folder. Should be in the main build, it's the sort of app joe public want.
BTW don't forget a .desktop file for partview
