New Super Secure Puppy

#1 Post by gposil »

I have designed a new super secure dpup based Puppy distribution which will be the saviour for all who are concerned about internet security and the running as root dilemma ....

AmigaPup

If the live CD detects you have a live internet connection, it will boot into a secure AmigaDOS environment which can only be read or written to by 6502 assembly language programs...effectively excluding any malware or virus writer born in the last 20+ years....should be foolproof.....

EDIT:

I have discovered a Firefox addon which will help all those people who don't want to install a new Puppy...its called Block All, it will effectively block every connection to the internet...wow...this is revolutionary...

AmigaPup
:D
You jest but it may happen . . .

Image

A modern live CD Amiga 'Aros' desktop for the pc can be downloaded
http://www.icarosdesktop.org/

install the p7zip-4.58.pet here to unzip the above file
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 112#218112

then use menu/utility/xarchive to uncompress the file

You will have an ISO which you can burn to disk
Menu / Multimedia / Burniso2CD

Reboot and find a graphic option that works . . .

What is it like?
It might be better to install to a partition for faster running
The very primitive browser crashed the system
before I could configure a net connection
So it is very secure
Got Doom game running without sound
Tried the paint program
The desktop and demos are beautiful

AmigaPup 2014

But i am very surprised. It was to say that drec (dpuprec) was working well with Amigapup. And I see that Drec has been created by Gposil, who created amigaPup too.
:o .
