Hi Everyone Very Happy

I am very pleased that I was able to offer Barry an extra two months with Servage. How? By using them as a server host.

Well if it is good enough for Barry, it's good enough for fish for brains (me!)

You might consider the same:
This is what the friendly people at Servage offer . . .

Thank you for your reply. Your friend Barry Kauler will be credited with two months of free hosting if you use this coupon code when signing up:
cust14300

. . . which of course I did and they gave me two extra months aswell - cool
Using my new Puppy skills I have set up a

New Puppy Friendly forum
http://tmxxine.com/forum/

This uses the same Open Source (don't you just love having resources for free) that John Murga has set up and we are using here - phpBB
Hey if it is good enough for our Forum Kennel Master, it's good enough for a low life like me to use. Good to hang with smart people - you learn more . . .

The new forum will take a while to get going and is not just Puppy orientated
It is likely to remain quite small

At its largest the HolyGeek forum had only 200 members

You can find a voice mail welcome message from Lobster here
http://tmxxine.com/sound/lob1.au

Expected topics of conversation:

Heresy and how to Know Nothing
    Computer hardware
    Software
    On-line services (Web 2)
    Time travel for beginners
Fish and how to catch them

I have also set up a New tmxxine wiki
http://tmxxine.com/wiki/
using the same software (Wikkawiki - that has been so succesful with Puppy)

Here is one of our old HolyGeek pages - most of us were still using Windows at the time. So if you are a Windows user we don't care . . .
http://peace.wikicities.com/wiki/HolyGeeks

I have never had an online server before. I tried to set up a freecom based server on a router node but it was too hard for me Sad
Just had no idea what I was doing . . .

At the moment I do not want to draw people away from Puppians forum and also Jonothans new developers list but if in the future we need a forum (for whatever eventuality) I should be able to host a discussion group in an emergency. For now this group here has speeded up and is fine for our needs. Thanks as always to John.

Anyway just to let you know. I am new to all this but trying my best Smile
