Squeak is interesting. If anyone has the inclination a dotpup would allow others to experience it.
When I was learning my first programing language I intended to move to smalltalk as soon as possible. Sadly the implementations at the time were not encouraging. Squeak has changed that.
It is slow, it is completely bizarre, it takes you a long time to realise it is a programming language - you just play with it . . .
