Ok, Puppian master graphicians....

I hang out on delicious.com periodically to see the most popular stuff.

This one had the top Photoshop text effects.

As most you know, you can frequently take a photoshop idea, read the tutorial (this one had a tutorial for each design) and figure out how to do most things in Gimp. Usually it is just in a different area, may take some experimenting, etc. but it can be replicated..haven't read all these but some looked pretty cool...

Anyway, give it a shot, take some of these ideas and apply it to Puppy for everyone...ready...GO!

tutorials here

First of all, happy holidays to everyone!

I have a couple of folders full of pics as gifts to everyone, all full of wallpapers with Puppy logos on them.

Texas folder- 41 pics A friend of mine takes the photos for one of the local motorcycle bars and their bike rides. All of these pictures are from those trips.

It doesn't show everything about Texas by any stretch of the imagination (I'm from a big town, myself, even though it is somewhat eclectic itself), but it does show some of the Texas hill-country and it's sites. You'll notice I was going more for feel and rustic settings.

Australian folder- 26 pics Trying not to offend anyone ;-) I went to the flickr creative commons area and looked at some of the pictures. All credit to the photographer is given in the names of each of the pictures.

Again, notice that I didn't cover the cities of Australia but covered pic's of the landscape and scenery, similar to the Texas settings. I essentially just went with pic's that had a good feel.

The "feel" that I mentioned is the representation of Puppy Linux, a lot of power in a small space, uniqueness and creativity.

Hope you like them and I encourage you to do the same with your cities/towns/locals to share with us. Enjoy!
