See http://www.unionfs.org/offer-finished.php

Finally, the bug has been found and fixed. Should Puppy 2 include the fixed unionfs ?

$2000! That's a great reward for fixing a bug!

Unfortunately the unionfs developers have stopped supporting the 2.4 kernel.
Unionfs 1.0.14 is the last version that supports 2.4 kernel.

Another reason to go for the 2.6 kernel...

Barry,
Any thought about moving to the 2.6 kernel? I've noticed some drivers out there are no longer supporting the 2.4 kernel. Since we're going to have to recompile WIFI, DRI, ...... drivers it might be a good time to make the jump. But that's easy for me to say.
