problem with dj720c

hi,
i read all topic for hp deskjet 700, and i try all read in the topics but at the end I have this problem:

/usr/bin/cups/filter/foomatic-rip failed ?!!?!??! WHY???

sameone have an idea???

Which version of Puppy are you using?

Which printer driver?

Have you installed a different version of CUPS?

I copy pnm2ppam, HP-DeskJet_720C-pnm2ppa.ppd and the conf file

cups 1.3.3

Was there a reason that you installed CUPS 1.3.3 from the repo? This is an untested version and your printer should work correctly with the CUPS that comes with Puppy 4.3.1.

If you really need to upgrade CUPS, get version 1.3.11 from here. However, you will also need the Foomatic-rip patched script pet from the same page.

ooooooookkk!!!!!!!!!! i print!! I reinstalled puppy, without change cups version and i install foomatic....pet.

But now, if i install new cups (1.3.11) i need to reinstall printer??
