Multisession Shutdown Bugs

#1 Post by Word Warrior »

I am using Puppy 1.0.7. After selecing "Yes" on the first text dialog box, I got a few errors and then the computer tried to continue. The first three lines of the error:

Code: Select all

expr: syntax error
expr: non-numeric argument
[: argument expected
These appear shortly before "Probing live-MEDIATYPE..." (not exact words).

Also, the "gotta have a DVD" problem is back, despite the fix implemeted in Puppy 1.0.7

I think that the "gotta have a DVD" problem is actually rooted in a bootup script becuse my /ect/multisessionmediatype indicates the wrong type of media. Forcing the $MEDIATYPE (in /ect/rc.d/rc.reboot-cd) variable to be "CD" rather than checking the afore mentioned file sort of worked. There were also slightly different problems depending on whether Puppy thought I was burning a CD or DVD.
