Can anyone point me to a hopefully Puppy sized/friendly program that I can use to add album art please? Seems to be beyond pmetatagger

on linux i use eaystag to tag my collection (with pics). there are some packages around in the forum.

Hmmmmm getting the odd file corruption with this. Wag The Dog/Dire Straits for example. Increasing Volume causes loud clicks at random times. Only problem track I have identified so far, so may be related to some other issue. testing this stuff fully takes ages

afterwards it's fast and easy. your problem could be clipping or a 'destroyed' file.
what does clip show for your track after analyzing?

i have never had that problem, and that's with around 15-20 thousand files run through
as far as i know the only change is made to 'header' data, not the audio part
aragon, is that correct?
so it is probably an artifact that was in there before?
[EDIT] just realized you'd increased volume, yeah, clipping, that might could do it [sorry for the lapse into texan]

Looks like clipping. Need to mostly DECREASE volume it seems. Working on it..................

Found an Easytag.tar.gz from Diciple form a year or so back. Have used in the past so it was dead easy thanks. Will put together a .pet and add it here later

Here are the files for easytag. It needs both. Tested on 4.3.1 It takes a few seconds to load as it it searching your file system, so be a little patient.....
