Running Puppy from the CD

I have no sound Solved: I retired the Acer machine and am now using a
H-P desktop.


It doesn't know how to handle .WMV files : still working on this...

Can we get Google Earth to run on Puppy?

: still working but have downloaded a file- May need others ;-(

You need to provide more information if you want good comments ie equipment, pup version, what you did, etc.

As for Google Earth, take a look at Lighthouse which has an optional Google Earth sfs which works great.

Duh!!


Look in the menu>set up>alsa sound wizard. Run that and see if you have sound. Try different cards. There's a utility to see which hardware you have in the system menu too.
