File name is google-chrome-5.0.356.2.gz and doesn't install when you click on it?

Can't say what it was before, but I just downloaded it as google-chrome-5.0.356.2.pet. So it downloads fine now.

EDIT: Works in Boxpup 4.31 -- but heavens, the print is almost too tiny to read. I will try to change the font to 20 pitch with Chome's settings and report back.

Nope. That didn't do it for reading this forum. Ctrl++ (enlarges the entire screen) works, though it probably isn't persistent.

Where is shortcut located?

The .pet claims to have installed correctly into ChurchPup (based on Puppy 4.1). However, I can't seem to find the link anywhere to actually use it. Where might I find the program in ROX?

Hi Bowser555

Not sure it will run for you in that puppy it is designed for puppy 4.3 and newer but it should be inn /opt/google/chrome.google-chrome. You can open a termail and type in google-chrome and it will tell you if any libs or what is going on.

I really love the speed of Chrome but it has a couple of annoying features. The first is that if the page does not fit there does not seem to be a way of getting it to fit to width. The other thing is if you have a long list of items on a page (ebay) and you click on to an item, when you go back to the previous page it goes to the top of the list instead of where you left from.
Opera has the instant option to "fit to width" and automatically goes back to where you were on the previous page.
If anyone knows a way of doing these things I would be interested to know how.
Regards Dennis.
