I have been using a theme called Brushed-Mikey with the background slightly darkened. Its nice because it give a serious look to Puppy. All business............
SM2 picks up the theme and uses it, which is nice

have you tried it with this version of 4.3 with the updated rox and plus I have the trash icon on the bottom rt corner of the screen as a placement that should help also.
All the apps listed show up fine when opened on a square 19" LCD

When I get some free time after I'm done this release I'll have a look, But The theme I'm using already has tiny tabs to start with, much smaller than the theme you posted. actually if you removed the bookmarks and name under icons it would be really ideal for small screens

Regarding V1.
The first time I used the new seamonkey, It crashed my network card (broadcom). I don't know why, as it also caused my computer to freeze, then reboot. Since then it has worked fine though (3x), so it may have been a fluke.
Seamonkey imports the settings from SM1 the first time. It may confuse the new people, but doesn't hurt functionality.
The flash screen for GRUB says puppy 4.31.
I'm glad to see you on Puppy 4.32.

I hardly used Puppy 4.3.1 because there wasn't any way to put VLC on it. There's also an issue of recognizing media file formats, which may be related to the version of Flash. Apparently Flash 9 plays some things that Flash 10 can't handle, probably because Flash 10 doesn't properly identify the format of the media file, which is a very inconvenient shortcoming.

The crash could be because it loaded your older settings at boot which might have issues with SM2, I would try it with
puppy pfix=ram

On my system with 1280x760 screen, offset still present placing bottom window buttons way below screen. Ran fixes mentioned and it is ok. Trah icon part obscured by bottom tray.

which fixes did you use that link post a lot of potential fixes, I'm not going to replace gtk if that is the fix, down grading gtk reduces apps that compile with this version like the latest gimp.

also if you go to http://www.tom-cat.com/mozilla/seamonkey.html
you can enable a built in silver gradient that looks similar to your old theme, then it might just be a case of changing to your old themes icons and basically you'll have what you wanted in the first place

Re: PuppyBrowser
There was a xulrunner browser that was posted by one of the mozilla developers back when they were still making a strong effort to have all mozilla apps be able to run on a common base. It may be easier to get working than gtkmozembed (of course that would mean seamonkey/firefox would need to be built with libxul)

All these sessions were pfix=ram. I'm hoping to get some time for an install of V1 later today.
