Suggestions
1. Replace mtPaint Screen Capture with Shot v1.0 having "Window Only"
2. Replace PartView with the enclosed pet which shows mounted drives as default with an option to show all drives. Showing all drives as default is slow on low-end hardware.

I'll replace PartView, but not Shot, its wayyyyyyy to big for what it does, actually pup-shots http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=387985 is 1/2 the size and way better.
But even that at 200kb is too large I could fit about 4-5 real nice small apps in that space, but once again this is a bug fix release. I'm debating on adding lameSMBxplorer 25kb, its starting to work well users are posting. http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=50901

I would prefer a lot ttuuxxx's powerful Pup-Shots even though it is a few (2?) MBs please.

Most important ... please add bejeweled and bubbles to the fun menu .. we must have play.
Tested printer.. first error.. then I remembered reading you sent a pet fix.. now Brother HL-1440 prints test page fine. Composing and printing is VERY fast, some versions it takes quite a while to get from hitting print to printer. Thanks.

You can get rid of gfnrename as it can't cope with spaces when I tried to do a search and replace batch rename. Can you also replace all those Calculators with galculator if you have not all ready? I am also making a large 7z of updates I have for you and may be a possible extras 7z .

I'm not replacing anything that could cripple the system, This is just a quick bug fix release could your updates be tar.gz or tar.bz2 4 series doesn't have 7z or xarchiver, just xarchive.
hmmm I need to focus mostly on the bugs and get this release finalized.

hi Thom cups should work fine now, just run it from the menu and only select the first button like below.
If your gui doesn't look like the image below then it wasn't installed properly.

Hi ttuuxxx
Sorry if all this has been covered but did you grab all ziggy's bugfixes for 431 from Stardust? Some will be irrelevant due to the seamonkey 2 upgrade.
Cheers

Well...I redid everything from scratch, started with a naked V2, redownloaded the fix and installed it...still have the same problem.
I hope V3 works...for me V2 is unworkable.

Good work ttuuxxx -i don't know what goes on under the hood but the new browser and blinky are very welcomed updates to me.
Running fresh 4.3.2-v2 frugal install:
On each bootup/reboot i keep getting an updating files message, (seems to be cups related)
followed by
updating from 431 to 432 message with a 30 second boot delay.
In total adds about a minute to the boot time, maybe my grub files is wrong?
# Linux bootable partition config begins
title pup432-v2
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
kernel /pup432-v2/vmlinuz pmedia=atahd psubdir=pup432-v2
initrd /pup432-v2/initrd.gz
# Linux bootable partition config ends
Since this is a new official puppy here is my desktop
