I started seamonkey from the console. Seamonkey started and ran correctly. no errors were noted from my end, but the browser still displayed an error.

"There was a Javascript error in this process, try another browser or contacting support"

I'm would have thought this was a Mediafire issue, but if it where they should have received lot's of notifications. So I'm confused. :)

BTW, Intel PIII w/ 514MB ram. Puppy 4.21

Just out of curiosity, do you have no-script installed in the browser as a plugin?
It will block java from working.
I had that same error on a few sites and temporarily allowing the page from noscript worked to bypass that error.

I don't remember of all my computers, but I know for sure that at least two don't. My wife is asleep now, so I can't check the other one.

Here is a snapshot of my desktop running KDE on my dpup build, it was downloaded and installed via download manager from the debion site with just a few failed files. :)

G'day,
Looking through some of my old posts I came across my KDE 4.2 project - the main issue was that akonadi would not run as root - well I've found what I hope to be is the solution!

http://www.mail-archive.com/fedora-list ... 36519.html

Am considering ressurecting this project so I can see it completed - and yes I know that KDE is up to version 4.4!

I guess I want to compare the speed of Puppy KDE4 and another Distro running KDE4 - Kudos to Puppy.

For some reason I could not find this during testing - oh well 2009 was not the best year for me - my eyesight must have been failing as well.

Cheers
Martin

PS. and looking at that screenshot - it does look way cool!
