Hi all I am a Xine fan and like to stay on the leading edge. I have been having problem getting Xine-ui-0.99.6 to install because it wanted libc6.so from glibc-2.11 found a way to get it so wanted to share it with you all. Xine-ui 0.99.6 pet http://mywolfe.googlecode.com/files/xine-ui-0.99.6.pet https://sourceforge.net/projects/mywolfe/files/Xine/Xine-0.99.6/xine-ui-0.99.6.pet/download Xine-ui libs in one pet was 8 files put into one to make it easer to install. http://mywolfe.googlecode.com/files/xine-libs-0.99.6.pet https://sourceforge.net/projects/mywolfe/files/Xine/Xine-0.99.6/xine-libs-0.99.6.pet/download Xine-libs-1.1.18.1 needed by Xine-ui 0.99.6 http://mywolfe.googlecode.com/files/xine-lib-1.1.18.1-i486.pet https://sourceforge.net/projects/mywolfe/files/Xine/Xine-0.99.6/xine-lib-1.1.18.1-i486.pet/download Use caution with this file it will alter your libc6.so forever libc6.so for glibc-2.11 http://mywolfe.googlecode.com/files/libc6-2.11.pet An extra lib if you are running Puppylinux 4.3.1 http://mywolfe.googlecode.com/files/libidn11_0.6.5-1_i386.pet https://sourceforge.net/projects/mywolfe/files/Xine/Xine-0.99.6/libidn11_0.6.5-1_i386.pet/download I have tested this in a fresh install of Puppy Linux 4.3.1 but nothing older. And MyWolfe-013 is based off of Quirky-018 so should work in it without a problem. rendering looking good than before and i like it 
but xine.desktop, must be corected on : Exec=xine %U just remove %U, make many error because of that thks _________________ Learning by Doing |

Is it the same program "GXine media player" that is in Puppy 4.3.1? |
