Hi Wolf Pup,
today I installed all pet-files but Xsane doesn't work for me. If I click on

Menu - Multimedia - Xsane image scanner

nothing happened. Does this pets work with puppy 412?
Is there a definite order by installing the pets or could they be installed by random order? Any idea what possibly has gone wrong?

Bummer....

sane-find-scanner produces:

Code: Select all

found USB scanner (vendor=0x04b8 [EPSON], product=0x011a [EPSON Scanner]) at libusb:003:010
Does that mean anything good for me?

Not really. It just means that SANE is detecting a device that looks like a scanner. Without a driver, XSane still can't use it.
