Hi,
i've downolad last version of peazip for DEB (.deb files),
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/peazip/peazip_3.1.LINUX.GTK2-2_all.deb
Then using deb2pet i've created a pet file.
I've installed , a shortcut in utilities are created, but the program don't run.
Where is the error?

P.s. in the same site they are a puppyversion, but it's older ..

Thanks in advance

roberto

G'day,
for someone to help you, you'll need to provide info about your system:
-CPU ? RAM ? HDD ? CD/DVD ? USB bootable?

then describe what version of Puppy Linux you are trying to run:
-what is the boot method - CD? USB Stick? HDD?
-if HDD, is it Frugal or Full install?

This may or may not help you, i am running quirky1.0 at the moment and i downloaded from your link.
I dragged the .deb file to the zip icon on the desktop and un packed it to a work folder.
I opened the usr and opt files and placed the contents into the appropriate folders in quirky.
Clicked on the the peazip bin file and it opened ok.
There was no need to make a pet of the deb file.
Maybe just clicking on the .deb would install it.

Yes, clicking on the .deb file would install it also.
Besides quirky, there is dpup (at a stand still for the moment) and Lucid which will handle .deb well also.
