How to make hermes based pcmcia wifi card work?

#1 Post by Nevermore »

i have an hermes based pcmcia wifi card, unfortunately i was unable to make it work with the linux module, so i was thinking maybe the win xP driver would do the job..
unfortunately ndiswrapper gives me an error (cant find fcntl.pm in @inc)..
how to fix that?
Thanks

Go to the http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net site and check the hardware list.

Sometimes the drivers that come with your card aren't standard and as such are not compatible with ndiswrapper.

If someone has been successfull on having your chipset working with ndiswrapper the solution will be there.

Beware that there are usually many entries for each chipset, I'd recommend reading them all before trying them.
