Is there a laptop battery monitoring app for Linux? |
|
Are there any apps available that come up with a warning when battery is low on your laptop. Also if possible puts the machine to sleep.
Thanks

The default is to just warn you when the battery is low. But you can change it to run any script or command.

Thanks for quick reply. Is there a way to make it save when battery is low?
I assume if I add
| Code: | | warning=exec:"COdE FOR SAVE" |
it will auto save?

If you want it to suspend or hibernate, you first have to get suspend/hibernate working - and this tends to work only on newer hardware with newer kernels.

Battery twinkles plus a message on the screen Subject description: Is that possible ? |

At the bottom of the screen, the battery twinkles. A message to the screen would be needed on top of that. Do you know how to make ?
Merci.
