1cm black border around screen

#1 Post by peter**** »

Hi Group , I have the Puppy up and running, all ok except I cannot get the screen to full size. There is a black border of 1cm running around the edge of the screen. I have looked in all the program file, but with no luck

Can someone help

I've never had such a bad fit of the image to the screen...
But when I have a poor fit...
With black regions around the edge between the image and the screen...
I use the control buttons on the CRT monitor to make the image a good fit.

Is it an LCD laptop screen an is it running at the correct resolution for the screen.
Laptops allow smaller screen resolution to be expanded to fit (looks
awful) or to use the centre of the screen with a border.
eg. my laptop has a 1600x1200 screen which looks OK expanded at 800x600 but terrible at all other resolutions except 1600x1200.
