What is the function of xchainkeys ? And what is ratpoison window ?
Last time my wife saw rat from our window, I had to use ratpoison, but I believe this has nothing to do with it.

pemasu,
Nothing to fear - ratpoison is a window manager that uses only the keyboard to provide function (no mouse movements)
see- http://www.nongnu.org/ratpoison/
You can experience what this is like by trying out the Vimperator plugin for firefox which controls all browser functions by keyboard only.
Cheers,
s

Hmm, sounds useful. Reminds me of times, when I used 386 diskless machine which booted from netware 3.12 server the OS, great DOS 5.0 and our working app used keyboard only. Ram was about 2 Mb if I remember right.
I miss those times ..... strictly maybe.

You could compare it a little with a shortcut-menu one shortcut opens a group the second does the action.
