Puppy 4.1.1 successfully installed on old computer

#1 Post by armandh »

Inrel slot 1 P-III 800 / 100 FSB, A Open AX6BC mobo, 256 meg PC100 ram, 16 meg Riva TNT AGP video card, 1.7 Gb Fujitsu Hdd, Creative pci sound card, D-link pci nic card. older NEC DVD+R optical drive.

Puppy 4.1.1 was a 100% no brainer install.
plays u-tube vids
plays DVD movies
easy e-mail setup

love it for all the left over stuff that is inadequate for anything big and needy..
Puppy is just great for re-purposing old computers.

I have just discovered that also, and I am truly impressed!

... and somehow I just knew it would have been a bad idea to toss-out my stack of old machines ...!!
