XAMPP - v 1.7.3a - Includes menu & statusicon... Subject description: 63Mb SFS |
|
XAMPP_v1.7.3a
http://puppyisos.org/files/sfs/Xampp/xampp_v1.7.3a_511.sfs
If you just wanna try the menu, cause you already have XAMPP running...
http://www.4shared.com/file/8D7zVBz2/xampp_menu_10.html
This will work on Lupu 5.1 + 4.31, just change the sfs extension, --
xampp_v1.7.3a_511.sfs -- eg xampp_v1.7.3a_431.sfs
Has a Menu Xampp.desktop file & a Statusicon
and a Start/Stop Menu incl edit config files, look at error logs etc.
File to edit for changes to menu...
/usr/sbin/xampp_start.sh
Paul
EDIT: Thinking bout adding the Xampp Devel package (33Mb)

renamed to xampp.v1.7.3a.511.sfs, works in lupu510 doesnt work in puppeee1
click network>xampp then right click the Xammp icon in the bottom tray> then click start everything you need. then go to http://localhost/xampp/
with a browser.
put things you want to install in /opt/lampp/htdocs/
cant start phpmyadmin, this error i have seen before in past lampp;
http://localhost/phpmyadmin/error.php?lang=en&dir=ltr&type=Error&error=Cannot+start+session+without+errors%2C+please+check+errors+given+in+your+PHP+and%2For+webserver+log+file+and+configure+your+PHP+installation+properly
| Quote: | phpMyAdmin - Error
Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly. | forgotten how to fix it.
after a while and some messing, i also had to edit /opt/lampp/lib/xampp.users with my own .htacess password because something stopped working and i had the htaccess login in pop-up appearing.

There are errors in config files. Possibly purposely put there so you should respond by purposely not using this sfs

aarf,
Thanks for your testing!
I can say the first Xampp.sfs I uploaded was faulty. I have remedied that, it was a file permissions problem - so afaik the new one works.
I certainly haven't deliberately made this SFS unusable, but I most certainly don't claim to be infallible.
Sincere apologies for any inconvenience or headaches,
Paul
EDIT: You've got me worried, I'll download what's on the server to make sure we haven't deleted the wrong sfs.

Not necessarily pointing a finger at you. deliberate time wasting sabotage is a hallmark of the php/mysql/appachie environment.
