BluePal (Paul) who created the tok-tok icon set for Lucid Puppy 5.1 has been generous enough to update his theme to v3.0 and create a scalable set of desktop icons especially for Puppy.

There are two sets in the .pet attached; one standard and one darker.

You can also obtain a full set of the tok-tok icons, including hundreds of application icons, by visiting BluePal's pages at deviantArt.

Enjoy!

When I typed the word "i P a d" without spaces in my message above, this forum changed it to "piece of crap".
Funny, but I love my piece of crap.

(make every single character bold and the word iPad is there! Stupid phpBB :)

Flash temporarily set the word filter to change it, in an effort to discourage the constant (useless) converter spammers who hit the forum every day, more or less.

Here's a theme I just made, all taken from Trinity. I'm considering the possibility of creating a "Trinity Puppy" that has both the traditional JWM/Rox desktop and Trinity.

It also replaces the MIME-type icons so you can't uninstall it. If you still wish to uninstall it, replace /usr/local/apps/ROX-Filer/ROX/MIME with the one from /initrd/pup_ro2.

Awesome Token icon theme for Puppy Linux

#214 Post by tataditiditin »

A port of AwOken / Awesome Token icon theme (by alecive) for the Puppy Linux desktop.

Tested on Lucid Puppy 5.1.1. I'm not sure that package works in Lucid Puppy 5.1.0 or earlier.

After running OpenBox for the first time yesterday, I realised that as nice as it looked, the blue icon clashed really bad with my red wallpaper. So I got in Paint Shop Pro and fixed it.

It really wasn't much more than using the colourize tool, but this gives a few various choices for people using the new Lupu beta, which uses OpenBox as it's default WM; or people using OpenBox in general.
I couldn't see why you can't use them on JWM either, but I am unaware how to change icons (if it's possible) for JWM.

Enjoy!

Thank you Steve! :)

In regards to Metacity (I know you were asking Steve, but since the topic has been brought up), I've thought about trying it but wasn't sure. How does it run on Lucid 5.2 beta?

Nope! You got a link? I got a laptop that would enjoy it... 8)

Edit: Is this it? Looks pretty good...I like that wallpaper (I think it's one I posted back in the day)...good look! 8)

Edit again: looks good! Posting from it now...very nice! Except crash!: facebook on Firefox causes x to crash like a champ...I'm posting from Opera now (which works fine). Still like this version, though, and may just keep it on this flash drive and run it for a while...thanks, ttuuxxx..
