[solved] How to use Samsung ML-2525 printer?

I'm using Puppy 511. First I added the PPD files from Samsung that had my printer's model number in them. That didn't work. Then, following the guide posted here, I installed the samsung_unified-2.5.3.pet from rcrsn51. Didn't work, so I installed CUPS 1.3.11. Still no-go. When I try to print a test page in CUPS, sometimes the printer makes some noise for a second and other times nothing happens. One of the drivers I tried had an "S" on the end of the model number and it printed a page that said, "Use the proper driver." Any suggestions? Thanks! Edited_time_total |

Go here and get the full Samsung Unified Driver installer for Linux. Unpack it and click on "autorun". |
