New BitTorrent Transmission video tutorial

#1 Post by Rhino »

I added a video for how to download a BitTorrent file using transmission to the Video Tutorial files.

Check it out at rhinoweb.us

I also made a tutorial video for how to back-up the pup001 file.

Check it out at rhinoweb.us

Let me know if there is any problem with the video or a better way to explain this method to XP users (NTFS only) as it may not be as simple for them.

Thanks!

Very nice rhino

Hope others find them clear
In Puppy 2 the mnt/home is different (when we support that)
as far as I know it is /dev/hda (where hda is the name of the hard drive) - but perhaps someone can confirm . . .

In Puppy2 we should have support for writing to NTFS so that should be solved. And yes we could just save the file to hda1 if we wanted. I think Puppy2 will be very good from the usability standpoint!
