Thanks Scott

I hope you it has a similar setup to your firedog. What is the best way to replace firedog w/ your new ff 3.6 version?

Firedog 1.2 last entry in each Bookmark category is: Add Bookmark Here

FirePup (ff 1.5.0.12) last entry in each Bookmark category is: Open in Tabs

Firefox 3.5.9 last entry in each Bookmark category is: Open All in Tabs

The Add Bookmark Here is not useful for me. Also, <control> B causes the browser to crash as does clicking on the entry. How can I change it to an Open in Tabs type entry?

Edit April 16, 2011:
I discovered an "Open All in Tabs" command in the right click menu when the cursor is resting on a Bookmarks category.

Still trying to figure out how to fix or get rid of the "Add Bookmark Here" which when selected causes the browser to crash.

That's good. but Firefox 28 is quite heavy on resources for those of us with older machines. There's no easy answer to this as far as I can see (apart from Opera).
Gigabyte M68MT-52P motherboard, AMD Athlon II X4 630, 5.8 GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250 GB Hitachi hard drive running Ubuntu 16.04.6, MX-19.2, Peppermint 10, PCLinuxOS 20.02, LXLE 18.04.3, Pardus 19.2, exGENT 200119, Bionic Pup 8.0 and Xenial CE 7.5 XL.

Thanks Pelo. 17 ESR is pretty good for most sites, except for some of the Google-based sites where you are likely to get a message like, "You are using an old browser, which we will soon stop supporting. Please upgrade to a newer version of Firefox."

I've even seen that message in Pale Moon (though I ignored it and nothing bad happened).
