CUPS DRIVERS

Have installed 5.1.7 over 5.1 and all appears pretty good except printer drivers.
The range of printer drivers is very old with my Canon MP 180 not listed and
no provision for installing a USB printer.My printer was set up easily in 5.1 and worked without a problem;

I checked in 517 and the Gutenprint driver for your MP180 is still there. Also, USB printers are still being detected.

I wonder if your upgrade did not go correctly. Boot off the Live CD using the "puppy pfix=ram" option and see if you can install your printer.
